Minecraft is not badly optimized, it just is not possible to make it run without lots of RAM. Minecraft does not support direct X 11 or 12, therefore, it renders the WHOLE map at once, even if your not looking at it. This is very CPU intensive and causes throttling. A easy fix is to have a powerful CPU.
