Hi, To add a person as a friend on PSN (PlayStation Network) you MUST send them a 'Friend Request' AND then they MUST agree to be your friend. IF they do NOT agree, then you CANNOT add them as a friend! This proceedure is the same on PSN regardless of whether it's on a PS4, PS4 Pro or PS5!
